FlightHub 2 On-Premises is available in two forms: software-only, which you deploy on your own server infrastructure, and the AIO all-in-one hardware unit, which comes pre-installed and ready to use. AIO (All-In-One) Combo
For organisations that want On-Premises security and control without building or managing a complex server environment. The plug-and-play option.

Software-Only (On-Premises)
For organisations with existing server infrastructure (physical, virtual or private cloud) who need maximum scalability and IT integration.
What's included:
The Basic Package includes 1 year of software upgrades. If you intend to keep FlightHub 2 On-Premises updated beyond the first year — strongly recommended, since DJI continuously releases new features and hardware compatibility updates — factor the Validity Period Extension into your ongoing operational budget.
Choose Software-Only if:
- Your organisation has a legal, regulatory or policy requirement to keep drone data within your own network or national borders
- You already have server infrastructure capable of hosting the software
- You need maximum scalability — more devices and more powerful hardware than the AIO
- You need deep IT integration with existing systems via API and MQTT Bridge

DJI FlightHub 2 On-Premises delivers the same enterprise drone management capabilities as the FlightHub 2 public cloud — mission planning, real-time Virtual Cockpit monitoring, multi-drone livestreaming, 3D mapping, fleet management, DJI Dock integration and full API access — with one fundamental difference: every piece of operational data stays within your own infrastructure.
No flight logs, imagery, video or telemetry is sent to external servers. The platform operates on your own physical servers, virtualised environment, private cloud, or public cloud under your own account — and the AIO option bundles the entire system into a single, pre-configured hardware device that connects to your network and operates straight out of the box. For organisations in closed or air-gapped environments, it runs entirely offline. For organisations with internet access but strict data policies, it runs on an isolated internal network with no outbound data.
DJI continues to update the On-Premises platform in parallel with the cloud version, keeping core features aligned — so organisations on On-Premises don't fall behind on new hardware compatibility or capability additions. Optional modules (Localized Cloud Modeling, Localized 4G Enhanced Transmission) can be added to the software-only deployment or come pre-installed on the AIO.
As of 2025, FlightHub 2 across all deployments has powered over 2 million missions and logged more than 400,000 operational hours across 85 countries — the On-Premises version extends this ecosystem's reach into the sectors where cloud deployment is not an option.
Full FlightHub 2 Feature Set — Locally Deployed
Everything in the cloud version is available in On-Premises: fleet management, Virtual Cockpit, multi-drone livestreaming, 3D mapping, route planning, DJI Dock management, AI-powered change detection, Smart Detection, and the FlightHub 2 Analyzer for AEC workflows. The UI is nearly identical to the cloud version, minimising retraining when switching.

Localized Cloud Modeling does not support LiDAR point cloud processing, multispectral reconstruction, contour lines, DEM, or cluster reconstruction — DJI Terra desktop remains the appropriate tool for these workflows.
Software-Only: this is a software deployment — there is no physical delivery for the licence. Once your order is confirmed, your licence key and deployment documentation will be provided. Your IT team will deploy the software on your server infrastructure — under recommended conditions, a single IT engineer can complete installation within one day. Optional 3-day and extra-day staffing services are available if you'd prefer DJI-authorised support on site.
AIO Combo: the AIO is a physical hardware unit, shipped to your site. It arrives pre-installed with the latest FlightHub 2 On-Premises and all included modules, ready to connect to your network and operate. Delivery times will be confirmed at point of order.
Frequently Asked Questions
The functionality is nearly identical — the same mission planning, Virtual Cockpit, mapping, fleet management and DJI Dock integration. The core difference is where the data lives. With the cloud version, data is stored on DJI's AWS infrastructure in Europe. With On-Premises, everything stays within your own network. The On-Premises version also adds the MQTT Bridge, which isn't available on the cloud platform. For most organisations without strict data mandates, the cloud version is simpler and faster to deploy. For organisations with sovereignty, compliance or offline requirements, On-Premises is the correct choice.

Yes. The On-Premises version is designed to run in fully closed, air-gapped networks with no external internet connectivity. All operations — mission planning, live video, data storage, Dock management — are handled internally. Some peripheral features such as offline maps and live weather data may have limited functionality since they require external data sources, but core operational capability is fully offline.
FlightHub 2 On-Premises can be deployed on physical/bare metal servers, virtualised infrastructure (VMware or Hyper-V), private cloud environments, or your own public cloud account. A single IT engineer can complete deployment in one day under DJI's recommended conditions. Minimum server specifications should be confirmed with our team, as requirements vary depending on fleet size, expected concurrent users and optional modules such as local 3D modeling.
The Basic Package includes one year of software upgrades — new features, hardware compatibility updates and security patches. The Validity Period Extension continues this coverage beyond the first year. If you don't renew, your installation continues to work but stops receiving updates. Given DJI regularly adds new aircraft compatibility, most operational programmes should budget for the extension as an ongoing cost.
Yes — DJI Dock 3 integration is fully supported on the On-Premises version, including mission scheduling, live monitoring and automated deployment management, all handled within your local network.
For the software-only version, a working knowledge of server administration is needed — the ability to deploy an application in your chosen environment. DJI says a single IT engineer can complete deployment in one day under recommended conditions. If you want to avoid IT complexity entirely, the AIO is the practical alternative.
