    The CHCNAV AlphaUni 20 is an integrated UAV LiDAR payload that turns a survey drone into a high-accuracy aerial mapping platform. Combining a laser scanner, IMU and positioning in one compact unit, it captures dense, precise point clouds over corridors, sites and difficult terrain.     True Multi-Platform Flexibility

    A flexible installation design allows the AU20 to integrate with UAVs, land vehicles and even a backpack for narrow-area mapping — one system covering road and highway surveys, urban planning, infrastructure inspection and environmental monitoring.

    Superior Vegetation Penetration

    Multi-target capability supporting up to 16 target returns lets the laser reach ground surfaces through dense foliage, making it easy to generate accurate DEMs and DSMs where other systems struggle.

    Survey-Grade Accuracy

    A scanner with 5mm repeated ranging accuracy, combined with CHCNAV's high-precision navigation algorithm and a new SLAM algorithm for challenging environments, produces absolute accuracy of 2–5cm even in demanding conditions.

    Long-Range, High-Density Scanning

    The AU20 reaches up to 1,450m range (>80% reflectivity) and captures 2 million points per second via a 200Hz continuously rotating mirror — delivering dense, detailed point clouds across large survey areas in a single pass.

    High-Precision Data:

    The AU20's advanced navigation algorithm and 5mm repeated ranging accuracy ensure your point cloud is precise enough for the most demanding survey deliverables - even in difficult site conditions where other systems struggle.  

    Long-Range Scanning:

    Scan up to 1500 metres and capture 2 million points per second. The AU20 covers large areas efficiently without sacrificing data density, making it ideal for highway corridor surveys and wide-area infrastructure mapping. 

    Superior Vegetation Penetration:

    With up to 16 target echoes, the AU20 sees through tree canopy and dense vegetation to capture accurate ground surface data beneath. Generate reliable DEMs and DSMs in areas where conventional airborne survey would struggle. 

    Multi-Platform Flexibility:

    Switch between crewed aircraft, UAV, land vehicle, and backpack configurations without changing the core sensor. One system covers road surveys, airborne mapping, and everything in between - reducing the need for multiple pieces of specialist equipment. 

    Rugged and Lightweight:

    At just 2.82kg and rated IP64 for dust and water resistance, the AU20 is built for field use. It integrates cleanly with vehicle roof mounts, UAV payloads, and backpack rigs without adding excessive weight or requiring complex installation. 

    Efficient Workflow:

    SmartGo software provides real-time mission monitoring in the field so you can verify coverage as you survey. CoPre processes the raw point cloud data intelligently on the desktop, reducing office time and getting deliverables to your client faster.
