Handheld Simplicity Without Giving Up Accuracy
At 1.2kg, the S20 is designed to be held in one hand and carried easily through buildings, corridors, stairwells and outdoor spaces — the kind of access that a backpack-mounted scanner or tripod system makes difficult. SHARE's LiDAR-SLAM and Visual-SLAM algorithms maintain positioning and loop closure accuracy throughout the session, producing point cloud thickness below 1cm and relative accuracy of 1cm or better from a continuous walking capture.
Dual 1-Inch Mechanical Shutter Cameras for True-Colour Point Clouds
Two 1-inch CMOS cameras with mechanical shutters capture 16MP images each, providing distortion-free true-colour imagery for photorealistic RGB point cloud output. The mechanical shutter eliminates rolling shutter artefacts on moving captures and ensures consistent colour fidelity, while a front-facing visual camera supports SHARE's Visual-SLAM positioning in environments where LiDAR geometry alone is challenging — glass-walled offices, repetitive corridor structures and low-feature spaces.
Integrated RTK for Direct Absolute Georeferencing
A built-in GNSS RTK module — covering GPS L1/L2/L5, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo — delivers 0.8cm + 1ppm horizontal and 1.5cm + 1ppm vertical georeferencing directly from the scanner, without an external antenna or separate positioning equipment. For sites with intermittent RTK coverage, PPK post-processing against a self-built base station or cloud PPK brings the same centimetre accuracy to GNSS-challenged environments.
Visual-SLAM for Challenging Environments
The S20's proprietary Visual-SLAM fuses visual data from the front camera with LiDAR SLAM — maintaining accurate positioning in scenarios where LiDAR geometry alone loses loop closure: glass surfaces, long uniform corridors, dark environments and spaces with limited geometric features.
150-Minute Battery with USB-C Fast Charging
A 47.5Wh battery integrated into the handle delivers up to 150 minutes of continuous scanning — covering most indoor project sessions in a single charge. USB-C fast charging keeps downtime between sessions short, and the handle-integrated design keeps the scanner compact and balanced without a separate external battery pack.
