DJI Matrice 4E (M4E)

Purpose-Built for Mapping

The M4E centres on a 4/3" CMOS 20MP wide-angle camera with an adjustable f/2.8–f/11 aperture and a mechanical shutter, designed for high-quality aerial photogrammetry. It's the natural choice for surveying, mapping, construction and mining — and it's the only camera in the series that supports mapping without Ground Control Points (GCPs).

Faster, Smarter Data Capture

A new 5-directional oblique capture lets the gimbal intelligently rotate to shoot multiple angles in a single pass, while 3-directional ortho capture reduces lateral overlap. With rapid 0.5-second interval shooting and mapping flight speeds up to 21 m/s, a single flight can cover a mapping area of 2.8 square kilometres.

Survey-Grade Accuracy

Built-in RTK delivers centimetre-level positioning, and factory-calibrated cameras with Distortion Correction 2.0 keep residual distortion under two pixels for cleaner photogrammetry, topography and digital-twin data — even at the edges of the frame. It integrates seamlessly with DJI Terra for detailed 3D reconstructions.

Endurance and Long Range

With up to 49 minutes of flight time, a rapid 15-second takeoff and speeds up to 21 m/s, the M4E maximises coverage per battery. O4 Enterprise transmission reaches up to 25km (FCC) / 12km (CE) for a reliable long-range link across large survey sites.

Safe, Reliable Flight

An omnidirectional binocular vision system provides obstacle detection and avoidance in all directions, even in complex environments. Multi-band GNSS support (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS) plus the RTK module keeps flight paths precise and hover stable throughout the mission.
