The DJI D-RTK 3 Multifunctional Station replaces the older D-RTK 2 with a genuinely multi-mode device that serves as a base station, relay station and rover station in a single 1.26kg, IP67-rated unit. Launched alongside the Matrice 4 Series in January 2025, it integrates a self-developed RTK chip across all five major global satellite navigation systems, delivering centimetre-level positioning for survey and mapping workflows.
In Base Station Mode, it provides RTK corrections to an unlimited number of DJI drones simultaneously, with no device connection limit — a meaningful improvement over the D-RTK 2. In Relay Station Mode, it extends video transmission and control range for Matrice 4E and 4T operations in complex terrain where direct line-of-sight is blocked, with the drone automatically switching to the strongest signal in real time. In Rover Station Mode, paired with the DJI Enterprise Android app and DJI Terra, it functions as a high-precision GNSS survey rover — measuring GCPs and check points without third-party tools, with built-in mainstream coordinate systems and one-click PPK processing in DJI Terra v4.4 or later.
