The CHCNAV HQ-400 is a compact, fully integrated multibeam echosounder in a 12.5 cm cubic form factor weighing just 2.7 kg -combining sonar, temperature sensor, attitude sensor, positioning sensor and compass in a single all-in-one hardware package with no complex wiring and ready to use straight from the case. With 512 beams (digitally expanded to 1,024) and 140° swath coverage, it delivers dense, full-coverage bathymetric data across rivers, lakes, ports and dredging sites.
The built-in calibration-free IMU saves 50% of preparation time compared to traditional multibeam setups, and is stable even with poor satellite reception or wave turbulence - providing reliable data output in complex water conditions. GNSS PPK support ensures accurate positioning even where live RTK corrections are unavailable.
