The 3M Peltor LiteCom Pro III is a high-performance hearing protector with a fully programmable analogue and digital two-way radio built in — site communication and hearing protection from one piece of PPE, with no handset to carry.
The step up from the licence-free LiteCom Plus is the radio itself. Operating on the licensed UHF 403–470 MHz band with up to 70 programmable channels and both analogue and digital modes, it integrates into existing professional radio systems rather than sitting apart from them. Operatives wearing the headset talk to the wider site fleet directly — supervisors on handhelds, vehicles on mobiles, the site office — instead of being isolated on a separate licence-free channel.
