The Hytera PDC680U combines a mission-critical DMR radio and an Android smartphone in a single rugged device — on-site radio communication and nationwide cellular coverage from one piece of kit, instead of a radio in one pocket and a phone in the other.
Running Android 10 with Google Mobile Services on an eight-core Qualcomm platform, it handles site apps, forms, drawings and reporting alongside its radio duties. Hytera’s AI noise cancellation strips plant and machinery noise from transmitted audio, and Glove Mode means the 3.6" touchscreen works with site gloves on.
