    The DJI Zenmuse P1 is a professional full-frame photogrammetry payload designed for survey-grade aerial mapping — combining a 45MP full-frame CMOS sensor, interchangeable fixed-focus lenses (24mm, 35mm, or 50mm) and a global mechanical shutter on a 3-axis stabilised gimbal. The mechanical shutter eliminates rolling shutter distortion at mapping speeds, and the TimeSync 2.0 system synchronises the camera, gimbal, flight controller and RTK module at microsecond level to write precise georeferencing data directly into each image.

    A single flight with the P1 can cover up to 3km² of terrain, with Smart Oblique Capture automatically managing five-direction oblique photography to generate complete 3D reconstructions from a single flight path — reducing the number of sorties needed and increasing post-processing efficiency by 20–50%. Process outputs in DJI Terra for orthomosaics, 3D point clouds, DSMs and 3D mesh models. Includes 1-year DJI Care Plan.

    Combined with RTK, the P1 achieves 3cm horizontal and 5cm vertical accuracy without ground control points. A global mechanical shutter (up to 1/2000s) and the TimeSync 2.0 system synchronise time across modules at the microsecond level, pairing every image with precise real-time position and orientation data.

    Exceptional Coverage & Efficiency


    The P1 can take a photo every 0.7 seconds during flight and cover 3km² in a single flight — with up to 7.5km² achievable in a single workday. That efficiency dramatically reduces the number of flights needed for medium to large-area mapping projects.

    Mounted on a 3-axis stabilised gimbal, the P1 supports Smart Oblique Capture, where the gimbal automatically rotates to take photos at the different angles needed for full 3D models — ideal for urban planning, cadastral surveys and reality modelling. It integrates directly with DJI Terra for 2D and 3D processing.
