The CHCNAV RS-1200 is a high-accuracy Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler for precise water velocity measurement in rivers, channels and coastal environments. Using a 5-beam configuration at 1,200 kHz with a 300 kHz central bathymetric beam, it delivers velocity accuracy of 0.25% ±2 mm/s across profiling ranges from 0.1 to 40 metres, with a cell size as fine as 2 cm for near-surface resolution. Fully automated measurement mode eliminates manual configuration of flow parameters, and onboard data storage of 32GB keeps extended survey sessions independent of external devices. Compatible with the CHCNAV Apache 4 USV for one-person remotely operated river discharge measurement.
