Double the channels of the S100-16 means double the point rate at the same scanning speed — producing denser point clouds for any given area traversed, giving more complete structural detail on complex architecture, better penetration through vegetation, and finer surface representation on irregular terrain.
Same Proven Body, Upgraded Sensor
The S100-32 uses the same ergonomic backpack body, battery system, storage, RTK module and camera setup as the S100-16 — meaning teams who know the S100-16 don't need to relearn the hardware. The upgrade from 16 to 32 channels is a sensor improvement, not a platform change.
Integrated RTK with PPK Fallback
Surveying-grade RTK (0.8cm + 1ppm H / 1.5cm + 1ppm V) provides directly georeferenced outputs from the scanner itself. PPK processing against a self-built base station or via cloud PPK covers mountain, desert and other environments where live RTK is unstable or unavailable.
Visual Laser GCP Acquisition
The S100-32 uses the same visual laser-based GCP acquisition system as the rest of the S100 Series — enabling accurate control point capture in challenging terrain without placing the scanner physically over the point, reducing the practical difficulty of control surveying in confined or uneven environments.
Hot-Swap Batteries for Continuous Extended Deployment
Two hot-swappable 49.436Wh batteries deliver up to 180 minutes of continuous scanning. For projects requiring longer sessions, additional batteries can be swapped without powering down — keeping the session uninterrupted and the dataset continuous.
