Mechanical Rotating LiDAR for Dense, Consistent Coverage
The S100-16's 16-channel Hesai mechanical rotating LiDAR generates 320,000 points per second across a full 360° horizontal scan — building consistent, complete point clouds as the operator walks, rather than the sparse returns of early-generation SLAM sensors.
Surveying-Grade RTK Built In — No External Antenna
A professional GNSS RTK module with integral antenna is built directly into the S100-16, providing 0.8cm + 1ppm horizontal and 1.5cm + 1ppm vertical accuracy for directly georeferenced scanning without an external receiver or separate equipment. For environments where RTK signal is poor, PPK processing is supported against self-built base stations or cloud PPK.
Visual Laser GCP Acquisition in Any Terrain
The S100-16 uses a visual laser-based method for ground control point acquisition — the operator aims the built-in laser at the GCP rather than placing the scanner directly over it, enabling accurate control point capture in challenging terrain including mining sites, caves and uneven ground.
Hot-Swap Dual Battery for 3-Hour Uninterrupted Operation
Two 49.436Wh batteries power the S100-16 for up to 180 minutes of continuous field operation. Both are hot-swappable — meaning the system can be kept running by replacing one battery at a time without powering down, extending deployments indefinitely with spare batteries.
1TB SSD at 10Gb/s for Large-Scale Operations
A 1TB high-speed SSD handles the storage demands of extended large-area scanning sessions, with data transfer exceeding 1GB/s making post-processing turnaround efficient even with large datasets. Wi-Fi 6 connectivity provides high-speed wireless data management in the field.
