SHARE is the most specialised name in our catalogue - a company built specifically around solving the problem other positioning technology can't.
From Aerial Research to Ground-Level Scanning
SHARE - formally Shenzhen Share UAV Technology Co., Ltd - was founded in 2016, but its technical roots go back further, to UAV research work at the Shandong Academy of Sciences dating to 2010. That research background shows: SHARE's early credibility came from integration work with DJI's own enterprise ecosystem, including developing the PSDK 102S aerial camera payload for DJI's Matrice platform; the same payload technology that's evolved into the PSDK 102S V3 we carry today.
From that aerial foundation, SHARE expanded into ground-based and handheld SLAM scanning, bringing the same precision positioning expertise down out of the air and into confined, complex environments where GPS-based systems simply don't work.
Solving a Genuinely Different Problem
SHARE's core technology combines laser SLAM with visual SLAM processing, meaning the system doesn't just rely on a single method to understand where it is in space. This matters most in what the industry calls "degraded" environments: tunnels, mines, dense interiors, anywhere satellite positioning is unreliable or absent entirely. SHARE's scanners are built with proprietary algorithms specifically to keep performing accurately in exactly those conditions.
The C10 series pushes for maximum data density and range for larger, more complex capture jobs, while the handheld C1 Pro trades some of that scale for genuine portability: a scanner one person can carry and operate solo, with an integrated RTK module for centimetre-level accuracy even without a fixed base station setup.
What This Means for You
If your work regularly runs into environments where a total station or GNSS receiver structurally can't help - underground, indoors, anywhere line-of-sight or satellite signal breaks down - SHARE is the specific tool built for exactly that gap, from a company whose whole technical history has been about solving positioning problems other approaches can't.
