Next-Generation GNSS + LiDAR Integration
A single receiver for both indoor and outdoor surveying
The ViLi i100 combines CHCNAV’s latest GNSS technology with integrated LiDAR scanning, extending precise positioning beyond traditional boundaries. Surveyors can now capture reliable data not only in open fields but also in dense city streets, woodland, construction sites, and even indoors. This all-in-one approach reduces the need for multiple equipment and ensures flexibility across a wide range of surveying tasks.
High-Precision Performance
Centimetre-level accuracy, even where GNSS is restricted.
Built on CHCNAV’s enhanced SFix 2.0 positioning engine, the i100 delivers 1–2 cm accuracy in open sky conditions and up to 5 cm accuracy within 20 m in GNSS-denied environments. Whether working under tree cover, close to tall buildings, or inside structures, surveyors can trust the i100 to maintain consistency where conventional receivers struggle.
Fast Data Capture with Vi-LiDAR
Scan, calculate, and deliver results instantly.
The integrated Vi-LiDAR enables rapid 3D point cloud generation and earthwork calculations with 99.98% reliability. Surveyors can simply scan an area, define boundaries, and instantly obtain accurate volume measurements. Dual cameras also support photo-based point capture, making it possible to extract survey data in bulk and complete CAD/AR stakeout tasks quickly.
Flexible Workflows and Connectivity
Designed for modern surveying demands.
The i100 supports multiple correction methods including CORS, UHF, and PPP, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of survey workflows. Built-in 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC simplify setup and data transfer, while the WebUI interface allows for straightforward configuration from any smartphone or controller. This flexibility ensures seamless integration into existing surveying practices.
Yes. The ViLi i100 integrates the 1W UHF radio. The specifications are:
◼ Standard Internal Rx only: 410 – 470 MHz
◼ Protocol: CHC, Transparent, TT450
◼ Port: UHF antenna port (SMA male)
Yes. The current ViLi i100 is equipped with a built-in 1 W radio module (Rx only). While it cannot directly
transmit corrections, it can be paired with an external datalink radio to function as a GNSS base station. In
addition, a future hardware upgrade is planned to support a full 1 W Rx/Tx radio module with Satel protocol
compatibility, enabling standalone base station operation and broader interoperability.
No, the ViLi i100 does not include a built-in LTE modem. However, it can seamlessly connect to NTRIP
services through the controller/data collector’s internet connection, ensuring reliable real-time corrections
without requiring an internal modem.
◼ With GNSS signal: ±3 cm (2σ).
◼ Without GNSS signal: ±5 cm (2σ) within a 20 m radius; beyond 20 m, error increases approximately 3 cm
for every additional 10 m.
◼ Supports seamless SFix initialization with full 0–360° tilt compensation.
SFix 2.0 delivers instant 5 cm RMS accuracy within 20 m in GNSS-denied areas, with no time limitation. By
fusing high-density LiDAR data and SLAM-based angular constraints, it continuously maintains accuracy as
long as the surveyor stays within range. Compared to SFix 1.0, which delivered 5 cm accuracy for up to 1
minute after GNSS signal loss and was mainly suited for indoor or canyon surveys, SFix 2.0 offers faster,
more robust, and field-optimized performance for demanding filed work surveying.
◼ Visual-fusion survey with multiple points per shot, range up to 20 m.
◼ With GNSS signal: typical accuracy ±5 cm within 15 m.
◼ Without GNSS signal: powered by SFix, ensuring reliable performance in obstructed environments.
◼ Product Positioning:
While both can capture point clouds, the ViLi i100 is positioned as CHCNAV’s flagship Visual + LiDAR GNSS
RTK receiver. Its core value is multi-sensor fusion positioning (GNSS + IMU + Vision + LiDAR), ensuring highly
reliable accuracy even in obstructed GNSS environments. Point cloud capability is used as a tool to support
volume calculation, earthwork measurement, and cross-section extraction.
By contrast, the RS series is a dedicated handheld LiDAR scanner, with a product strategy centered on point
cloud capture and processing. It extends into software-based services such as colorized model generation,
line drawing, DEM extraction, and 3D mapping workflows.
◼ Application Scenarios:
The ViLi i100 is designed for outdoor field work with up to 20 m GNSS-signal denied areas, excelling in urban
cadastral surveys, boundary mapping, and obstructed areas (e.g., narrow alleys, under bridges, forested
plots). It also supports construction tasks such as CAD + AR stakeout and small-to-medium scale volume
calculations.
The RS series, with its longer scanning range and higher coverage, is designed for large-scale, long-distance,
and high-efficiency scanning needs—such as infrastructure corridors, mining sites, or extensive terrain
modeling.
The ViLi i100 complies with international standards and holds the following certifications:
